It's hard to believe that a year ago, at this moment, we were getting to see our little girl for the first time. Over the past 12 months the three of us have learned a lot of things: How to care for someone who counts on you for everything, how to wiggle, crawl, giggle, babble, talk and walk, how to avoid getting "accidentally" pooped on, how to adapt to new experiences at a moment's notice. But of all the things we've learned, I think the best was how to be completely in love with life and each other.
Happy Birthday, Libby! Every day you find new ways to make your Mom and Dad feel like the luckiest people in the world. We'll keep trying to return the favor.
