Sorry that there haven't been many updates of late, but as you can guess we've been busy. Libby's started school (nursery school, but still school), Mom's gone back to work, I finished my Graduate degree and certification requirements. Just a lot happening.
People kept telling me that "everything will change", and although I believed them, I didn't really understand what they meant.
No more leisurely nights at home with no plans and nothing to worry about. No more nights of uninterrupted sleep. No more easy weekend getaways or nights out on the town, or deciding at the last minute to catch a movie or go out for a meal. No more worrying about just myself.
Now I come home just wanting to hold someone on my lap until she sleeps. Now I'm disappointed when she goes to bed early and I don't get to hang out with her. Now I get excited to change diapers and read books with cardboard pages and fuzzy animals on them.
Now I get to look at this face every day...
"Three Months"
I'd say it's been a pretty awesome trade.
